While working for the New York State Archives and the Rochester Regional Library Council, Anne Filiaci advised local governments, libraries, museums, universities and historical agencies on archives and records management. Her historical publications include most of the biographies appearing in the award-winning website Western New York Suffragists: Winning the Vote, as well as many articles for Cobblestone Magazine—including an article about Lillian Wald. Filiaci has also worked as a reference librarian for Chapel Hill Public Library, and has written content on authors and titles for NoveList, a reader’s advisory database. The author of many technical leaflets, grant applications and consultant reports, her archival clients have included the Susan B. Anthony House and the Rochester School for the Deaf, as well as many local governments in upstate New York. Filiaci has a Ph.D. in American History and a Master’s in Library Science. She currently lives in Chapel Hill, N.C.
